The Strength of God in Life (Why Having Faith Saves People)

According to Luke 1:37 “For with God, nothing shall be impossible.” The verse reflects upon the knowledge that God offers you strength, and it is far better to have Him in your life than not. He empowers you to be the best version of yourself should you invite Him into your life.

God is love, our Creator, and a promoter of goodness and peace. He calls upon us to do the same. Having faith in Him makes you a better person, as well as a stronger person. Having faith will empower you in a number of ways.

Trust in God

God is on your side, and He is there for you, even when you don’t see Him. On the other hand, people can be unreliable because they change. They may leave you when things get tough, or they may be motivated to “love” you based on your money, fame, success, looks, or popularity. For this reason, they can suddenly lose interest in you when these qualities vanish. Unlike the love people may offer, God’s love for you is pure, and it is everlasting. He will remain with you whether you have everything or absolutely nothing, and He will help you through your struggles even when everyone you thought you knew is gone.

God is loyal, and you must be loyal to God. God offers forgiveness in a way no person can; however, it is offered when you are genuinely sorry and request forgiveness. This means that even if you do sin, finally realize it, and search for a way to make things better, God will not leave you in the cold. Instead, He will offer you warmth and welcome you to come to Him; God will never give up on you.

Isn’t it great to know that you have someone so loyal by your side no matter what? Someone who will love you for who you are? Someone with the best intentions for you? Someone looking after you every second of every day? Someone who knows you better than you know yourself? Well, that’s what it feels like to have faith in God, except it’s even more empowering since we know He is the most powerful. In fact, Romans 8:31 says, “If God is for me, who can be against me?” Why would you rob yourself of this faith? After all, it strengthens you.

Struggles

I cannot explain to you why certain bad things happen. I will never understand why tragedies occur and how some cruel people get away with their evil acts on humanity. What I do know is, as Madeleine L’Engle said, “God doesn’t stop the bad things from happening; that’s never been part of the promise. The promise is: I am with you. I am with you now until the end of time.

When we go through struggles, it may seem as though God abandons us, but that is when His presence should be the strongest, and that is when your faith should strengthen as well. Ultimately, faith is how we get through our struggles.

We must have faith through the good times and the bad. We must know that God is always looking after us. We must remember that we cannot always understand God’s wisdom but trust in His will anyway. We must have complete trust in God. We must believe something will get us through our struggles, and fortunately, God’s power can do anything.

Ultimately, God gives you struggles to make you stronger and help you become the best person you can be. Sometimes, a struggle is a lesson, and sometimes, that lesson is to let you know how much you can get through. People say that God gives the hardest battles to His strongest soldiers, and you are given this opportunity in life because you are strong enough to live it. I don’t know the truth of this statement, but believing it makes me strong enough.

Knowing that your struggles happen for a reason helps you get through them, and it helps you understand that you are capable of overcoming whatever it is that you’re facing. Sometimes, the biggest issue a struggle presents is actually our approach to the struggle. Sometimes, we make it worse than it actually is due to fear, stress, worry, anxiety, and negativity. Having faith, knowing God is going with you during this experience, eliminates some of that unnecessary fear, stress, worry, anxiety, and negativity. It saves you from losing yourself when times get tough. It reminds you that things will turn out well for you because that’s what it means to have God with you.

Answering Prayers

God answers all of our prayers, but it isn’t always with a “yes.” Why? It’s because He knows what’s best for us even when we don’t. I’ve been informed that God answers in three ways. Sometimes, He says “yes” and gives you what you ask. Other times, He says “no” and gives you something better. A lot of the time, He responds “wait” and gives you the best, which I think may even come after death when you’re in Heaven.

Regardless of the answer, we must still pray because He is the best listener, and a moment spent with Him is never wasted. I do know that God has a plan for all of us, and sometimes, we must simply trust in His plan, even when we don’t understand it. John 13:7 says it best: “Jesus replied, ‘You don’t understand what I am doing, but someday you will.’At the end of the day, we must remember that God knows best.

When you feel lost, just remember that God knows exactly where you are, and He has a great plan for your life. Also know that wherever you go, no matter how crooked the road may seem, God will carry you down that path as long as you let Him. As Oprah Winfrey once said, “What God intended for you goes far beyond anything you could have imagined.” Keep that in mind.

God and Love

Although some people may twist the name of God and do horrible things with it, you must remember that God is great. Don’t listen to the lies of the enemy; only listen to the truth of God’s being. It’s up to you to interpret Him correctly. That said, I know He promotes love, and love conquers all. God is proof that, in the end, good triumphs over evil. He is proof that love wins. When you trust in Him and His love, miracles happen. Undoubtedly, love is what will save the world.

After all, as 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 states: “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

God is showering us with His blessings, and we must have faith in Him, not just by recognizing His existence but by having faith. It saves us, and it empowers us. Robbing yourself of God just makes life harder than it has to be. I’m not saying that everyone should be Catholic, but I do know it will help to believe, trust, and have faith in God, for your own sake. God offers the hope and love people desperately rely on. I know He believes in me, even when I don’t believe in myself, and that is what pushes me forward. God loves you, and He has a plan for you, so it is important to keep Him in your life.
